Dr. Tanja Zdolšek Draksler from IRCAI and Dr. Alenka Guček from the AILab at the Jožef Stefan Institute are among the contributors to the tutorial “Architecting Human Oversight in AI-Enabled Software Systems: From Principles to Implementation”, which will be presented at the International Conference on Software Architecture (ICSA) 2026.

The tutorial explores how human oversight can be effectively embedded into AI-enabled software systems, translating governance principles into practical architectural and implementation approaches. Participants will gain insights into designing AI systems that remain transparent, accountable, trustworthy, and aligned with human values.

The tutorial will take place on 23 June 2026 in room 4B43, with sessions scheduled from 13:30–15:00 and 15:30–17:00.

This contribution highlights the ongoing engagement of IRCAI and the Jožef Stefan Institute in advancing responsible and human-centred artificial intelligence through interdisciplinary research and international collaboration.
