The Journal of Artificial Intelligence for Sustainable Development (JAISD) invites researchers to submit papers for its special collection Artificial Intelligence in Education, Publishing, Media, Culture and Society: Building Sustainable Development.
Artificial intelligence presents transformative opportunities for media, education, culture, and society. From newsrooms to classrooms and cultural institutions, AI can enhance teaching, storytelling, publishing, and cultural activities. This special issue aims to explore how AI technologies are integrated, adapted, and evolving in these settings as collaborative partners rather than autonomous tools.
We welcome submissions on:
- AI literacy and educational transformations
- AI in journalism, newsrooms, and publishing workflows
- Cultural identity and societal interpretations of AI
- Ethical, legal, and intellectual property implications
- Human–AI collaboration and the reshaping of professional identities
- Semiotic, psychological, and socio-cultural approaches to AI
- AI governance, policy, and global inequalities in adoption
- Socio-cultural AI (SCAI) and its implications for industry, society, and academia

Submissions
Submit your abstracts (300–500 words) to info@ircai.org, indicating the issue title. Selected authors will be invited to submit their full manuscripts (4000-5000 words) by March 30, 2026.
