In June 2026, the Regional Development Agency ROD Ajdovščina officially opened the Dream Machines Exhibition at the premises of the Ajdovščina Regional Chamber of Craft and Small Business. The exhibition showcases imaginative machine concepts developed as part of the international MyMachine initiative.
MyMachine encourages children to unleash their creativity by imagining and drawing their own “dream machines.” These ideas are then transformed into functional prototypes by secondary school and university students through the Garage mentoring programme, creating a unique collaboration across generations while fostering innovation, creativity, and hands-on learning.
In Slovenia, the MyMachine initiative is coordinated by IRCAI under the auspices of UNESCO. Representing IRCAI at the exhibition opening, Simon Marolt joined project partners and participants in celebrating the creativity of young innovators and the collaboration that brings their ideas to life.Representing IRCAI at the exhibition opening was Simon Marolt, who joined project partners and participants in celebrating the achievements of the young innovators and the collaborative efforts that bring their creative ideas to life.
