General Description of the AI tool

Floods represent the most frequent natural hazard, projected to increase in frequency and intensity due to global warming. Our system, Triton, utilizes advanced satellite Synthetic Aperture Radar data and AI to provide timely and accurate flood mapping on demand. This enhances disaster response efforts, enabling emergency responders and government agencies to efficiently allocate resources and support affected populations. Accurate flood maps are also crucial for insurance companies and financial institutions in evaluating flood-related risks & impacts, and determining insurance premiums.
