General description of the AI solution
Our solution is a waste garbage can that pays according to the quality and quantity of waste it has poured. The user pours the garbage into the garbage can, then the camera connected to a rasberry pi takes an image of the waste. The image is sent to an object detection algorithm that must detect non-organic elements (plastic, metal). The mass of the waste is calculated and a QR code is generated. The user scans the QR code from an application and is remunerated according to the quality and quantity of the waste he has poured.
