General description of the AI solution
Humans in the Loop is an innovative program that enables vulnerable groups such as refugees to participate in the AI lifecycle by providing human supervision and oversight. In this way, the beneficiaries can access paid work opportunities for annotating and processing datasets for Artificial Intelligence systems, while AI companies from a variety of industries can use a global diverse workforce in order to make sure their systems are trustworthy and bias-free. This solution applies to all types of AI systems and is especially relevant to computer vision systems that require real-time input, such as wildfire detection, weapon detection in public spaces and schools, fall detection for sick patients in hospitals, etc.
