General Description of the AI tool

Our project addresses the uncharted influence of gender on AI-driven vital sign monitoring using radar data. Current AI systems may have gender biases, leading to disparities in detecting vital signs like respiration and heartbeats. We aim to evaluate AI performance on male, female, and combined datasets, uncover biases, and implement mitigation strategies such as adjusting decision thresholds and fairness algorithms. Continuous monitoring will ensure fairness and precision. The findings will enhance AI systems' effectiveness, promoting equitable healthcare outcomes.
