General description of the AI solution
We are developing an application and a browser extension called 4INSHIELD to protect children and teenagers against violence in cyberspace. Our goal is to automate the detection of diverse cyber-risks, including online sexual abuse, hate speech, and harassment, in real-time to alert parents, teachers, and educators about harmful or illegal online content that young people are exposed to. Our solution is compatible with the child's public social networks (TikTok, FB, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, and school online communication networks), and functions as a browser extension or can be integrated into the child's mobile phone, PC, or tablet. The 4INSHIELD project is destined for schools and has a strong EdTech background. We help school children detect cyberbullying and teach them how to react to it. Seeing the positive educational impact of our 4INSHIELD project, we thought that it might be interesting to move in the SafetyTech direction and conceive an AI-based tool that will both detect cyberbullying in real-time and encourage young generations to stay proactive and be responsible Internet users.
