General Description of the AI tool
The Observatory is a locally-driven regional hub championing MENA voices developed with the purpose of creating a diverse regional network for different actors within the data & AI ecosystem in MENAn to share knowledge, collaborate on projects, & advocate for responsible AI policies. It provides a voice for the region in global scholarship by creating content originating from the region & increasing social awareness of responsible AI & data through accessible resources in English & Arabic. It tracks emerging AI trends, identifies research & policy gaps, and disseminates a body of knowledge.
