General Description of the AI tool

M-Situ is an AI-powered early-warning system combining IoT sensor networks with machine learning algorithms to detect deforestation, wildfires, and charcoal burning in real-time. Our technology analyzes acoustic data, temperature, humidity, and air quality from ground-based sensors to identify environmental threats at their onset. Real-time alerts are sent to conservation authorities, enabling immediate intervention. Running pilot with Kenya Forest Service in Ngong Forest, we've demonstrated significant effectiveness in forest protection and threat prevention.
